OUR STORY
Zachary Earea, Managing Director of Red Volt, grew up on his family’s farm in regional New South Wales. Always close by his father’s side, he quickly earned the nickname “Red Dog.” That same grounded upbringing shaped Zac’s work ethic and passion for hands-on problem-solving.
By graduation of high-school, Zac was a qualified electrician working on high-end residential projects. His early career on the East Coast saw him installing and maintaining remote generators and batch plants for the Pacific Highway Upgrade, and later leading solar system installations across the Hunter Valley and Greater Sydney.
Drawn back to country life, Zac and his partner relocated to Katherine, NT, in search of new adventures. There, he worked as electrical supervisor on major projects including the Tindal Air Base Ammunition Storage Facility and the Katherine Sports Facility.
Now based in Alice Springs, Zac has expanded his expertise to managing complex Defence infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on U.S. electrical systems. His passion for the industry and commitment to delivering professional, down-to-earth electrical solutions in remote Australia led to the founding of Red Volt.
When he’s not in high-vis, you’ll find Zac out exploring—discovering the unique, untouched corners of Australia and beyond.

Alex Best
Alex is a highly skilled electrician with a deep
understanding of both Australian and U.S. electrical systems. His strengths include fault finding, compliance testing, installation of complex systems, and managing crews in high-pressure environments.
Alex is known for his excellent communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.

Includes ACMA Open Registration (Cablers Licence) issued by ACRS
